Commercial Director

Own Vwaza's commercial strategy and revenue performance across the entertainment platform. Lead sales, business development, and partnerships to build sustainable, recurring revenue streams. Work closely with the Head of Growth to establish lasting relationships with key partners and close significant deals, while building and leading the commercial team as the company scales.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles
• Proven track record of building recurring revenue
• Experience closing significant deals with senior decision-makers
• Experience building a commercial function, team, or pipeline
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and own outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• Experience in media, entertainment, telecommunications, fintech, advertising, or events (advantageous)
• Experience in Malawi or other African markets with established professional network (highly valuable)
