ABOUT THE ROLE
The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians to fill this vacant position at Zomba City Council.

QUALIFICATIONS
👉 Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited and recognized university or institution of higher learning
👉 Two (2) years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the design, construction, supervision, and maintenance of roads, buildings, and other public infrastructure
👉 Must be registered with the Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI) at the appropriate professional level

DUTIES
👉 Supervise road/drain construction and maintenance works
👉 Compile periodic progress reports on works undertaken
👉 Prepare on-the-job training for junior staff
👉 Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for roads and construction projects
👉 Plan construction and maintenance works
👉 Facilitate requisition of materials for different projects
